Responsibilities
- Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle safely and efficiently for deliveries
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules
- Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company policies
- Assist with route planning to optimise delivery efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles
- Proven experience as a commercial driver
