About the Team

The Elite Client & Sponsorship team manages revenue-generating products across the MWC and M360 events portfolio. Working closely with Sales, Events, and Delivery teams, the team ensures client satisfaction and transforms new concepts into ongoing revenue activities. They proactively help clients maximize their investment by building long-term relationships and acting as trusted advisors.

About the Role

As a Sponsorship Delivery Manager, you will ensure all elements of client sponsorship packages are fulfilled. You will work with multiple clients and events, serving as a subject matter expert for sponsorship products across the GSMA portfolio. Your role involves leading the development, implementation, and on-site delivery of sponsorship programs to ensure client satisfaction and meet KPIs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to execute sponsor packages flawlessly
  • Managing sponsors throughout the event cycle, maintaining strong relationships
  • Developing new sponsorship opportunities and innovative solutions
  • Creating sponsorship inventories and standardizing contractual language
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize sponsorship delivery
  • Tracking deliverables via sponsorship platforms and Salesforce
  • Ensuring all deliverables are assigned and completed
  • Improving processes and systems for quality standards
  • Securing client sign-off before deadlines and providing progress reports
  • Reporting weekly on project, operational, and financial milestones

About You

  • Experience in B2B relationship and project management, with knowledge of events, partnerships, and sponsorships
  • Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills with a large sponsor portfolio
  • Business acumen, commercial awareness, and client relationship skills
  • Effective communication tailored to different audiences and cultural sensitivities
  • Team-oriented, passionate, quality-driven, and self-motivated
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; social media knowledge is a plus
