Role Overview: Senior Marketing Manager (Contract – IR35, until December 2026, full‑time, hybrid – 2‑3 days in office). The role sits at the centre of how the GSMA engages, supports and grows its member community. It includes leading the GSMA Pavilion projects at global MWC events, managing membership communications and engagement, and supporting the promotion of Working Groups and the Member Gateway.

Key Responsibilities

  • GSMA Pavilion Projects
    • Lead pavilion projects for MWC events (Barcelona, Las Vegas, Doha, Shanghai, Kigali).
    • Manage activations, stakeholder communication, project documentation and vendor contracts.
    • Oversee asset delivery, brand approvals, and internal/external stakeholder meetings.
    • Track KPIs, manage budgets, monitor spend and optimise cost efficiency.
  • Membership Communications & Engagement
    • Lead senior communications: Board elections, member surveys, renewal initiatives.
    • Run integrated marketing campaigns to grow and retain members.
    • Craft segment‑specific messaging, optimise digital channels (website, email, paid media, social).
    • Support renewal process with personalised, dynamic content emails.
    • Build survey structures, analyse results, prepare insights for stakeholders.
  • Working Group Marketing
    • Execute marketing plans supporting Working Group strategic objectives.
    • Manage content on gsma.com, draft communications, develop newsletters, blogs and promotional outputs.
    • Lead multi‑channel campaigns and engagement activities.
    • Produce assets (written, design, videos/testimonials) and oversee webinars, LinkedIn Live sessions.
    • Ensure consistent GSMA branding across all Digital Assets and event materials.
  • Member Gateway Marketing
    • Prepare news, help pages, and knowledge‑base updates.
    • Participate in UAT and release readiness activities.
    • Manage communications for feature updates and create member‑facing guidelines (FAQs, user instructions).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology or telecom.
  • Proven exhibition management skills: booth production, partner & demo management.
  • Track record of delivering measurable, high‑impact marketing campaigns.
  • Strong content creation and storytelling skills with audience‑segmentation instincts.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, email automation platforms, and analytics.
  • Excellent project‑management skills: manage multiple complex initiatives, cross‑functional teams, contractors, and third‑party vendors.
  • Experience engaging new audiences and increasing participation in community‑driven programmes.
  • Proactive, confident, independent, adaptable to change, and able to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment.
