About the Role
As a Change Manager in the Project Services team, you will support the delivery of GSMA projects by providing change management expertise. You will work closely with Project Managers, Change Managers and the PMO to maximise project success and embed change management principles across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead change management activities, using tools and processes to maximise adoption of the change.
- Perform impact assessments across projects and collaborate with the Project Manager to integrate change management activities into the project plan.
- Develop and execute communication and engagement plans to inform, engage and educate stakeholders and impacted employees in line with project objectives.
- Support Project Managers in managing change throughout the project life cycle.
- Develop training plans as needed and work with the project team and the GSMA People Development team to deliver training.
- Define and track success measures of change activities.
- Provide information and support to the Head of Project Services.
- Work effectively alongside the Project Services PMO, supporting best practice and maintaining change management standards.
- Play an active role in ensuring good stakeholder communications from the project team.
- Advocate for embedding change management principles across the GSMA.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of the way people go through change and the change process.
- Experience with change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Experience delivering training and change activities as part of projects and programmes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to use plain English in communications.
- Ability to use a range of communication methods effectively, including email, instant messaging, telephone and face‑to‑face conversation.
- High aptitude for stakeholder identification and management.
- Effective networking skills across new colleagues or departments and locations.
- Basic understanding of project management practices, processes, tools and project lifecycle phases (waterfall, agile, or other delivery methods).
- Experience working in an international and cross‑cultural environment is beneficial.
- Willingness and confidence to present in team meetings.
- Good office IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), SharePoint and Teams.
- Change Management certification or equivalent experience desirable.
