The Role
As a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances.
Key responsibilities include:
- Programming CNC milling machines.
- Setting and operating 3-axis / 4-axis CNC mills.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Selecting appropriate tooling and fixturing.
- Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.
- Inspecting own work using measuring equipment.
- Supporting continuous improvement and process optimisation.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter.
- Strong understanding of Fanuc, similar controls.
- Ability to read technical drawings confidently.
- Experience working with a range of materials (mild steel, stainless, aluminium, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
