GSL Education are recruiting a compassionate SEN Teacher to work within a specialist or mainstream setting supporting pupils with additional needs in York.
About the School
The setting supports pupils with a range of SEND, including autism and SEMH needs. Teaching is personalised, structured and focused on both academic and emotional development.
SEN Teacher Responsibilities
- Deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Support EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
- Promote emotional regulation and independence.
- Work closely with support staff and external professionals.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- QTS with SEN experience or interest.
- Understanding of SEND strategies and differentiation.

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
