GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Unqualified Teachers to work on a day-to-day basis at a welcoming school in the Leicestershire area. Responsibilities of an Unqualified Teacher:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects at the secondary level.
  • Support students in their learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and student needs.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and lesson outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity in learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have a genuine interest in education and working with young people.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be confident, proactive, and adaptable in a classroom setting.
  • Demonstrate good behaviour management and organisational skills.
  • Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or have one registered on the Update Service).
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
