Responsibilities of an Unqualified Teacher:
- Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects at the secondary level.
- Support students in their learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and student needs.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and lesson outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity in learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a genuine interest in education and working with young people.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be confident, proactive, and adaptable in a classroom setting.
- Demonstrate good behaviour management and organisational skills.
- Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or have one registered on the Update Service).
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
