Teaching Assistants - Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead, Hillingdon & West London - Immediate Starts
GSL Education are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to join a range of supportive and welcoming schools across Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead, Hillingdon and West London, with positions available for an immediate start.
We have opportunities across Primary and Secondary settings, with both full-time and flexible roles available. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, an aspiring educator looking to gain valuable school-based experience, or have experience supporting children with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
Our partner schools are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who can provide effective support to pupils both inside and outside the classroom. You may be supporting individual students, working with small groups, assisting teachers with classroom activities, or providing additional support to pupils with SEN and additional learning needs.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience working with children or young people in a school, education or similar setting
- Be confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be patient, enthusiastic and committed to helping pupils succeed
- Have a positive approach to behaviour management
- Have experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
