Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:- Support students across KS1 and KS2 with their learning and personal development.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support as required, helping students to stay on track and achieve their potential.
- Contribute to a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Assist with classroom organisation and resource preparation.
- Support students with SEN needs, adapting strategies to meet their individual requirements.
- Uphold the school’s values and maintain a high standard of care and professionalism.
- Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
- Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- A strong understanding of the primary curriculum, with the ability to support students across KS1 and KS2.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working with students and staff.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
