Contract Type: Ad hoc, Part-Time

Working Hours: 8:15am – 3:45pm

Pay Rate: £90 – £105 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a lovely, inclusive school in the Enfield area. This role is ideal for someone with SEN experience who is passionate about supporting children and making a real difference in the classroom.

The Role – Teaching Assistant (TA):

  • Delivering 1:1 SEN support and targeted interventions
  • Supporting pupils during engaging classroom activities
  • Monitoring and supporting pupils’ progress and wellbeing
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
  • Helping to create a safe, respectful, and stimulating learning environment
  • Following school policies and contributing positively as part of a team

Requirements of TA role:

  • Proven SEN experience and knowledge
  • Recent school-based experience
  • Confidence in delivering personalised and 1:1 support
  • A good level of spoken and written English
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine commitment to helping children succeed
