Looking for a rewarding teaching role that offers flexibility and variety across local schools? GSL Education are seeking dedicated and passionate Supply Teachers to work across schools in Andover. This flexible position offers a competitive daily rate of £120 to £150 depending on experience, starting immediately.

Supply Teachers are essential in maintaining continuity in the classroom by leading lessons, managing behaviour, and ensuring students complete work set by the regular teacher. You can select the days you wish to work, up to five days a week if preferred. Temporary long-term placements are also available when covering teachers on long-term sick leave, operation cover, or general gaps in teaching staff, providing both stability and flexibility.

Responsibilities of Supply Teacher:
  • Lead a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining a calm and focused environment
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students complete assigned work
  • Uphold school behaviour policies and ensure continuity in students’ learning
  • Be adaptable across different year groups and subject areas as needed
  • Report on student progress and behaviour where appropriate

Skills & Requirements for Supply Teacher:
  • Fully Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
