Are you a mathematical maestro ready to orchestrate a symphony of numbers and equations? We are seeking a Maths Teacher with a flair for numbers and a passion for teaching to join our secondary school in Southend.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative maths lessons that captivate and challenge students
- Encourage analytical thinking and problem-solving through engaging teaching methods
- Provide individualized support and feedback to help students achieve their best
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an integrated STEM curriculum
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the school's academic goals
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics
- Experience in teaching maths at the secondary level
- A strong grasp of the current curriculum and assessment methods
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students
- A proactive approach to student welfare and a commitment to safeguarding
