Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)

Do you enjoy working closely with students and making a direct impact on their learning? GSL Education are currently looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils on an individual basis in schools across Sheffield S2 and S3. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, supportive, and committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning in a one-to-one setting.

The 1:1 TA Role Will Include:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
  • Supporting students to stay focused, engaged, and motivated
  • Assisting with class activities under the direction of the teacher
  • Helping to build confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
  • Offering consistent emotional and academic support

We’re Looking For Who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
  • Is calm, reliable, and nurturing
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
