Location: Sheerness, Kent

Salary: Β£130 - Β£250 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)

Start date: 2nd September 2026

Contract: Full-time, Long-term Supply

Are you a confident and enthusiastic Computing Teacher looking for an exciting full-time teaching opportunity in Sheerness?

Do you want to work as a Computing Teacher in a well-regarded secondary school where you can inspire students through engaging lessons and help them develop the digital skills they need for the future?

GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting for a dedicated Computing Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Sheerness from 2nd September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term supply position initially running until Christmas, with the potential for the role to continue beyond the initial contract.

The successful Computing Teacher will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, lesson delivery, assessment, and marking. You will be expected to hit the ground running, establish positive relationships with students, and deliver engaging and challenging Computing lessons across the secondary curriculum.

The ideal Computing Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in Computing and/or Computer Science
  • Experience teaching Computing at secondary level
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to commit to a full-time role, 5 days per week
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous due to the school's location
