Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs to feel confident, included, and ready to learn as a SEND TA? We’re hiring a motivated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) to join a supportive school setting in Derbyshire, providing tailored support to pupils who benefit from additional guidance in the classroom.
SEND TA - The Role:- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEND
- Assist with learning activities and adapt support to individual needs
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive environment
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
- A patient, calm, and compassionate approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
