GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant – High and Complex ASD to join a welcoming all-through SEN school in Southgate, N14, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN professional to gain valuable experience supporting students with complex additional needs while working within a supportive school environment. Position: SEN Teaching Assistant – High and Complex ASD
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Ad Hoc Supply Work
Hours: 8:15am – 3:45pm
About the SEN Teaching Assistant role:
Provide dedicated support to students with high and complex ASD needs.
Support students with their learning, communication, wellbeing and development.
Provide 1:1 support where required and adapt approaches to individual needs.
Support students with a range of SEN needs across different year groups.
Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

SEN Teaching Assistant requirements:
Minimum 1 year’s experience supporting students with ASD/SEN and very high needs.
Recent school-based experience.
Experience supporting students with SEN on a 1:1 basis.
Able to support students with a range of SEN needs.
Flexible and able to work across KS1–KS2.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Right to Work in the UK.
Two to three professional references covering the last two to three years.
