SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire ? Contract: Full-time Agency: GSL Education Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience GSL Education are currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work full-time in specialist schools across the Scunthorpe area.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience supporting children or young people with SEN , or those coming from a care or support background who are looking to transition into education.
The Role: Supporting pupils with complex needs , including ASD, learning difficulties and SEMH Providing 1:1 and small group support in the classroom Assisting with personal care where required Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement support plans The Ideal Candidate: Available to work full-time, Monday Friday Previous experience working with SEN children , or within care/support settings Comfortable supporting pupils with complex needs and personal care Calm, patient and resilient approach to behaviour A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners Why Work with GSL Education?
