We are recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants (TAs) for full-time roles starting in SEN schools across Southampton. Requirements for Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience working in primary or special needs (SEN) settings (Desirable)
  • Confidence in supporting children with SEN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and language difficulties (is a bonus)
  • Experience delivering 1:1 support and working with small groups
  • A positive, proactive, and empathetic approach to learning support

Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting children with SEN needs in the classroom
  • Assisting class teachers with planning and adapting lessons
  • Helping children engage in learning and reach their full potential
  • Providing personalised interventions and behavioural support
