Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are working with schools in Dinnington (S25) to appoint a dedicated SEN Teacher who can deliver inclusive and supportive teaching.

As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher , you will plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet individual learning needs. You will work closely with support staff and families to create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons aligned with individual education plans.
  • Support students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Create an inclusive, calm, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an SEN Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
  • A patient, empathetic, and professional approach.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
