Are you a dedicated Secondary Teacher looking to inspire and engage students in the High Peak area?
GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and versatile Secondary Teacher to join a welcoming school community in High Peak. While applications from all subject specialists are welcomed, there is a particular interest in teachers who can deliver Maths up to GCSE level.

Role Overview:
As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, well-structured lessons, supporting academic development, and contributing to a positive school environment. The role is open to full-time and part-time candidates, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility while maintaining a strong presence in the classroom.

Responsibilities as a Secondary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Ideally teach Mathematics at GCSE level.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback.
  • Maintain a supportive and well-managed classroom.
  • Contribute to the wider school team through collaboration and participation.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
