GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate PMLD Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis within specialist SEN schools in Scunthorpe, with the potential to progress into a permanent, full-time role for the right candidate. This role is ideal for individuals who are experienced in supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred support in an educational or care-based setting.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs on a one-to-one or small-group basis
  • Assisting with personal care, mobility and sensory-based activities where required
  • Supporting communication, engagement and emotional wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a school and with SEN children, or within a care setting

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
