Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher eager to ignite curiosity and a love for scientific discovery? GSL Education are seeking a motivated Science Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced school in Rotherham (S65, S66) from January 2026. As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, helping students develop practical skills, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of scientific concepts.
Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across relevant key stages.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages enquiry.
- Carry out practical experiments safely and effectively.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental goals.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Science.
- Experience teaching Science in UK schools is desirable.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
