GSL Education is seeking a committed Maths Teacher to work with schools in the Rotherham (S65 & S66) areas, delivering clear, engaging lessons and making mathematics accessible to all students. As a Mathematics Teacher, you’ll deliver structured lessons that build essential skills, promote logical thinking, and help students reach their potential. You’ll create a positive classroom environment where pupils feel confident and motivated to explore mathematical concepts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons across key mathematical topics and levels.
  • Help students develop problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve pupil performance.
  • Maintain a focused and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate assessment records.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching as a Maths Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
  • A positive and supportive approach to learners of varying abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
