GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to work within supportive specialist and mainstream school settings across Redcar. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities to thrive academically and emotionally.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
  • Support learners with a range of needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and review of EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals.
  • Track pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
