GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to work within supportive specialist and mainstream school settings across Redcar. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities to thrive academically and emotionally.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
- Support learners with a range of needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and review of EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- Track pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
