GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated RE Teacher to support schools throughout Rotherham , including those in the S65 and S66 postcodes, delivering lessons that inspire reflection, discussion, and understanding of varied religious and ethical perspectives.
As an Religious Education (RE) Teacher , you will create engaging lessons that develop pupils’ critical thinking, support moral reasoning, and foster respect for diverse cultures and beliefs.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver well-structured RE lessons that inspire curiosity and understanding.
- Guide pupils in exploring ethical questions and religious traditions.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to help pupils improve their knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence as an RE Teacher .
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
