This full-time role is available to start immediately. The successfulPrimary Teaching Assistantwill be a vital part of the classroom, working alongside teachers to create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:

• Work closely with class teachers to deliver an engaging and inclusive primary curriculum.
• Lead 1:1 sessions or small group activities focused on literacy, numeracy, and social development.
• Assist in monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to all school-wide safeguarding protocols.

In order to be considered for this Primary Teaching Assistant role, the candidate must:

• Have prior experience working as aPrimary Teaching Assistantor in a related youth-support capacity.
• Demonstrate a sincere passion for helping young students grow both academically and personally.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and a reliable, professional work ethic.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks.
• Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
