This full-time role is available to start immediately. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:
- Work closely with class teachers to deliver an engaging and inclusive primary curriculum.
- Lead 1:1 sessions or small group activities focused on literacy, numeracy, and social development.
- Assist in monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to all school-wide safeguarding protocols.
In order to be considered for this Primary Teaching Assistant role, the candidate must:
- Have prior experience working as aPrimary Teaching Assistantor in a related youth-support capacity.
- Demonstrate a sincere passion for helping young students grow both academically and personally.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and a reliable, professional work ethic.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks.
- Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
