What to Expect

As a Psychology graduate working in education, you will support students with a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ADHD
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Communication and interaction difficulties

You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils stay engaged, develop key life skills, and reach their personal and academic goals.

Roles Available

• 1:1 Learning Support Assistants
• SEND Teaching Assistants
• Classroom Behaviour Mentors
• Bank Staff for flexible day‑to‑day cover
• Long‑term support roles in specialist and mainstream settings

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• ✅ A Psychology degree (or related subject)
• ✅ A strong interest in working with children with additional needs
• ✅ Resilience, patience, and excellent communication skills
• ✅ A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• ✅ Previous experience (formal or informal) working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential
