Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.
  • Support the development of key skills including literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and other colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • A positive, proactive approach and commitment to inclusive education.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
