Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can reach their full potential.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.
- Support the development of key skills including literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and other colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum.
- A positive, proactive approach and commitment to inclusive education.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
