Salary: Paid to teacher scale (MPS/UPS)

GSL Education are working with a Pupil Referral Unit in Dorset who have 2 current sites with a third opening in September 2026. Their current sites are Blandford Forum with the new site being based in COLEHILL. The school are seeking at least 4 teachers who will join the current schools this spring/summer and be part of the Colehill development, opening and running! During the spring/summer you would be based in Blandford Forum. This is a real exciting opportunity to work at a really lovely and supportive school who want to provide more placements to children with behavioural needs in Dorset. The capacity of the school will be 70 across KS2-4.

Roles are FULL TIME but the school will be open to job shares for the right candidates! School keen to offer permanent roles too.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/PGCE): A recognised teaching qualification is required.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: A positive, flexible approach is essential for adapting to different school environments and year groups.
  • Classroom Management Skills: Confidence in managing classrooms and promoting a respectful learning atmosphere.
  • Driving Licence (Beneficial): Having a driving licence is advantageous for travel between schools.

  • An updated CV with references from within the last two years
  • A DBS registered on the update service, or the willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
