We are in urgent need of a FULL TIME TEACHING ASSISTANTS to join a SEN school in PLYMOUTH.
Due to the nature of these children at the school it is ideal for applicants to have previous experience in UK SEN schools/ alternative provisions/ transferable skills working with behavioural needs.
Responsibilities:
- Guide students as a Teaching Assistant, offering personalised guidance and support.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.
- Foster a nurturing environment that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.
- Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement effective interventions to address behavior challenges and promote positive outcomes.
Requirements:
- Effective communication abilities to ensure clear interactions
- Applicants holding a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle will be prioritised.
- Demonstrated Patience and Empathy along with flexibility and adaptability
