GSL Education is in search of a Learning Mentor to fill a post at one of our client Schools in Rotherham.
Job Summary:
- Assisting PE teachers in planning and delivering PE lessons, helping with equipment setup, and ensuring that activities run smoothly.
- Motivating students to participate in physical activities and sports, fostering a positive attitude towards physical fitness.
- Helping to organize and supervise sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities such as after-school clubs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist PE teachers in delivering engaging and effective PE lessons.
- Organize and supervise sports activities and events.
- Provide one-on-one support to students during PE classes.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Help maintain and manage sports equipment.
Qualifications:
- Strong passion for sports and physical education.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- First Aid certification is desirable.
