GSL Education is in search of a Learning Mentor to fill a post at one of our client Schools in Rotherham.

Job Summary:

  • Assisting PE teachers in planning and delivering PE lessons, helping with equipment setup, and ensuring that activities run smoothly.
  • Motivating students to participate in physical activities and sports, fostering a positive attitude towards physical fitness.
  • Helping to organize and supervise sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities such as after-school clubs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist PE teachers in delivering engaging and effective PE lessons.
  • Organize and supervise sports activities and events.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students during PE classes.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Help maintain and manage sports equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong passion for sports and physical education.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • First Aid certification is desirable.
