Are you a passionate MFL Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive secondary school? GSL Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and committed MFL Teacher to work in a secondary school in Peterborough. This role is ideal for a skilled teacher who can inspire students and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Languages lessons, with a focus on fostering confidence and communication skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Teach MFL lessons (French, Spanish, or both, depending on specialism) across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and well-structured lessons
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Encourage a positive learning environment and a love for languages
- Work collaboratively with the MFL department and wider staff team
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in MFL (French and/or Spanish preferred)
- Experience teaching MFL at secondary level (KS3 & KS4; KS5 desirable)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for languages and student progress
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
