GSL Education are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Nottingham. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons to students, fostering a love for Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful Science Teacher will create an engaging learning environment, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to effective learning.
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress.
- Work collaboratively with the department and school staff to enhance teaching strategies.
- Ensure all safeguarding and child protection policies are strictly adhered to.
Required Qualifications for a Science Teacher:
- A recognised teaching qualification in UK (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Specialism in Science with experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new check.
