GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and making a positive impact in the classroom.
The Role:
- Support class teachers with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups to support pupils’ learning and progress.
- Assist in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN, where required.
- Help prepare learning resources and contribute to lesson activities.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable).

- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
