GSL Education are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain classroom experience or take the next step towards a career in education.
The Role:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain on task.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support students with their learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
