Responsibilities of the Maths Teacher:

  • Teach Maths to students across key stages, ensuring high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners.
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Support students’ individual learning needs, adapting lessons as necessary to maximise progress.
  • Assess and track students\’ progress, providing regular feedback and setting goals for improvement.
  • Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment with clear expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and attend staff meetings to contribute to the development of the department and school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths to key stages.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality education.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience working in a school setting is desirable.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
