We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced qualified teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable long-term experience in a supportive environment.
The Role
- Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement
- Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS / PGCE (or is an ECT working towards completion)
- Confident teaching KS3 and KS4 Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to student success
- Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only
- Holds a DBS
