GSL Education are working with a school based in Lymington who are seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their team on a long term contract. This is in a one form entry school with 80 children on site across Years 1 to 6. The role will be teaching a mix Year 3-4 class and will be from January to July 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Pre-Planned Lessons: Confidently carry out lesson plans left by permanent staff, adapting as needed to meet student needs.
- Maintain Classroom Management: Foster a positive, structured classroom environment, using effective behaviour management strategies to keep students engaged and on track.
- Assess and Support Students: Provide encouragement, monitor progress as required, and assist students in understanding lesson content.
- Work Across Different Schools: Embrace the opportunity to work in a variety of schools in Poole, gaining experience across year groups and subjects.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/PGCE): A recognised teaching qualification is required.
