- Teaching Assistant duties
- Support teachers with classroom learning and behaviour management.
- Provide 1-to-1 and small-group support, including for SEND pupils.
- Assist with literacy, numeracy, reading and classroom activities.
- Prepare learning resources and help maintain an organised classroom.
- Supervise pupils during lessons, break times, lunch and school activities.
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement and pupil wellbeing.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school policies.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff.
- Role Requirements
- Relevant experience of working with children is desirable but not necessary
- A Clear Enhanced DBS check
- GCSE A*-C or equivalent in Maths and English
- A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
