We are working with a well-established independent school seeking a Computer Science Supply Teacher to join them as soon as possible, teaching GCSE-aged students. This is an urgent requirement, initially offered as a trial until Friday, with the strong possibility of continuing through to the end of the Spring term for the right candidate. Pay is negotiable and union-dependent on experience.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Computer Science lessons at GCSE level
- Teach across a range of abilities, adapting lessons to meet student needs
- Support the delivery of the computing curriculum using innovative and creative approaches
- Contribute to a positive, well-structured learning environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider teaching and IT team
- Strong Maths teachers with experience or confidence in delivering Computer Science are also encouraged to apply, particularly for short-term cover.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Computer Science and/or Numero iMedia up to GCSE
- Confident classroom management
- Strong subject knowledge, including programming concepts
- Flexible, reliable, and available to start immediately
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
