Salary: £90 – £110+ per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a committed Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Burton-on-Trent area from September 2025. This role is perfect for someone who can engage with pupils, provide tailored support, and help create an inspiring learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of the KS2 Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Support pupils’ learning and development in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Work with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support where needed.
- Assist in tracking pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion within the classroom.
Requirements for the KS2 Teaching Assistant role:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a school support role (KS2 experience desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
