Job Description

Job Title: KS1 Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Nottingham Pay Rate: 90 110 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time Could You Inspire the Next Generation of Explorers? GSL Education are seeking a caring and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Nottingham . This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping young learners develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning during these formative years.

Role Responsibility of KS1 TA: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging KS1 lessons. Assist pupils with learning activities and tasks to ensure progress. Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.

Work closely with teachers, colleagues, and parents to support individual needs. Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. What You ll Bring as a KS1 TA: Experience working with young children in a school or educational setting.

A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early years development.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
