GSL Education are currently seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school environment. This role involves supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them to access learning effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN
  • Assist with learning activities tailored to individual needs
  • Support emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff
  • Encourage independence and confidence in pupils

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Understanding of autism, SEMH or learning difficulties
  • Patient, caring and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
