GSL Education are currently seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of special educational needs (SEN) schools in Horncastle and the surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity for caring, reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs. Supply work offers flexibility while allowing you to gain experience across a variety of SEN settings.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Working one-to-one or in small groups to support learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
- Assisting the class teacher with daily activities and classroom management
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within SEN, schools, care, or a related support role
- A patient, empathetic and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt confidently to different school settings
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
