GSL Education are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support learning and deliver lessons in a nurturing and dynamic primary school in Billericay.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead whole-class and group teaching sessions across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Assist teachers with planning, marking, and classroom management.
- Help deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that motivates and challenges pupils.
- Contribute to a positive school culture and maintain high standards of behaviour and learning.
- Take part in assessment, reporting, and professional development opportunities.
- HLTA qualification (or extensive TA experience with the ability to lead a class).
- Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Confidence in managing a class and delivering prepared lessons.
- Patience, resilience, and a nurturing nature.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and initiative.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
