About the Role
GSL Education is seeking reliable and responsible Exam Invigilators to support our partner secondary schools across Teesside during internal and external examination periods, including GCSE examinations. This role is essential in ensuring examinations are conducted in a calm, fair, and secure environment for pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing examination rooms in accordance with exam board regulations
- Supervising pupils during examinations to ensure all rules are followed
- Distributing and collecting examination papers and materials
- Providing clear instructions to pupils before and during exams
- Responding appropriately to pupil queries in line with exam guidance
- Reporting any irregularities or concerns to the Exams Officer
- Supporting pupils with access arrangements, including scribing, reading, and SEN support, in line with examination guidance

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working in a secondary school environment
- Experience as an exam invigilator
