Job description

Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are working with schools in Rotherham (S65, S66) to appoint a dedicated Geography Teacher who can make learning engaging and meaningful.

As a Geography Teacher , you will deliver lessons in physical and human geography, fostering enquiry, critical thinking, and a global outlook within a supportive classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-prepared geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage analysis, discussion, and independent learning.
  • Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
