GSL Education are looking to appoint committed and adaptable Flexible Teachers to work across mainstream secondary schools in Fareham, Hampshire starting from September 2025.
As a Flexible Teacher, you will be responsible for covering lessons, maintaining high expectations for learning, and managing classroom behaviour. You’ll work in different school environments, making each day unique while still doing what you love — teaching.

What you have to do as a Flexible Teacher – Secondary:
- Deliver pre-set lessons across various subjects in secondary schools.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and student needs.
- Uphold school policies and behaviour expectations at all times.
- Engage learners in the absence of their regular teacher.
- Provide feedback to senior staff where required.
- Be proactive, enthusiastic, and ready to take on new challenges each day.
Flexible Teacher – Secondary Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience in a secondary setting is essential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desirable, but experienced unqualified teachers may also apply.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a positive approach to teaching.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
