Are you a dynamic and passionate PE Teacher looking for your next challenge in a vibrant school setting? GSL Education are seeking a Female PE Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Alton, Hampshire, starting from September 2025. The successful candidate will take on a full-time teaching role, delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages and inspiring young people to lead healthy, active lives. The school is happy to consider both Early Careers Teachers and experienced educators, and a school tour is available ahead of the formal interview process. Interviews are scheduled to take place over the next couple of weeks.
Your Responsibilities as a Female PE Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons that engage and motivate students.
- Plan lessons that cater to a range of abilities and promote participation across all sports.
- Promote teamwork, fitness, and sportsmanship within a structured PE curriculum.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support progression.

Qualifications & Skills for PE Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- A degree in Physical Education, Sports or a related field.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Previous experience working as a PE Teacher across UK secondary schools.
- Sports experience and the ability to coach various sports in line with the national curriculum.
- Enthusiasm for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider school community and events.
- Female candidates required due to supervision and delivery of PE in a girls’ setting.
- Hold an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered in the update service or willingness to apply for one.
