GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Burton-on-Trent from September 2025. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who can create an engaging, safe, and stimulating learning environment in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

Key Responsibilities of the EYFS Teacher:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess creative and engaging EYFS lessons.
  • Promote the personal, social, and emotional development of pupils.
  • Create a nurturing environment that supports learning and development.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to meet each child’s needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to pupil progress reports.

Requirements for the EYFS Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with EYFS teaching experience.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
